Khanvel
Khanvel is about 25 km away from the capital city of Silvassa. This place is synonymous with green pastures and tree-lined roads. The River Sakartod flows through Khanvel and there are pastoral style cottages and hotels. The Van Vihar Tourist complex in Khanvel houses a deer park, a greenhouse and hotels on the riverbank. There is also a cactus house here. The roads leading to Khanvel are lined with tall trees and lands bounded by verdant green hills. In the forests, tourists can get to see flying foxes, fruit bats, flycatchers, barbets, etc.

Church of Our Lady of Piety
The Church of Our Lady of Piety was built by the Portuguese in the late 18th century and it is believed to have been built around 1886 or 1889. The Church is one of the oldest standing buildings in Silvassa. The most stunning structure of the church is the skillfully bedecked interior and outer arches. The Church of Our Lady of Piety is located just opposite the well-known Tribal Museum. There are in fact many Catholic churches in Silvassa due to the settlement of the Portuguese here for many centuries.

Dudhni
Dudhni is about 20 km away from Silvassa. It is a large riverside by the Damanganga River. Dudhni proffers a variety of activities like water sports like jet skis, canoeing, speed boats and kayaking, hiking and also a chance to see the tribes of the area.
For trekking enthusiasts, there are many treks or walks that one can undertake through the winding pathways across the thick forests. Visitors can also see how the tribes live in settlements. Trekkers are allowed to set up their tents near the banks of the river.
The drive to Dudhni is very scenic and the roads are filled with bends and curves. The Madhuban Dam on the River Damanganga, is about 40 km away from Silvassa. There are plenty of water sports available here like the water scooters, aqua bikes, bumper boats, speed boats, kayaks, canoes and passenger boats.

Vasona Lion Safari
One of the major attractions of Silvassa, is the Lion Safari which is about 10 km away from the capital city of Silvassa and is spread over twenty acres. It is basically a part of the area of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Wildlife Sanctuary. The Lion Safari Wildlife Park is enclosed in the wildlife sanctuary and there is a wall built around it. Asiatic Lions can be seen in this Safari Park.
